In the UK – with its National Heath System and more pervasive government programs – the culture considers tax sheltering and tax avoidance a more scandalous accusation, which often does make front-page news.
George Michael was hospitalized last week after collapsing in his North London home, according to various news reports.
George Michael’s new song, “Let Her Down Easy” might sound familiar. That’s because the song was originally recorded by Terence Trent D’Arby in 1993.
On May 28, a note was posted to the singer’s website stating, “He continues to rest and recuperate. He is well and thanks everyone for all the messages of support.”
A spokesman for Michael confirmed he had been involved in an accident on Thursday but said the singer only had “superficial cuts” and was “fine.” No arrests have been made.
The singer hopes fans will forgive him for having to cancel his Australian tour as he enters therapy.
The British singer has just gotta have faith that his fans won’t believe what they read.
