In 1992, Love began adding to her Christmas repertoire with another classic, “All Alone At Christmas,” which she recorded for the soundtrack of “Home Alone 2.” The song – written for her by E Street Band guitarist Steven Van Zandt – came about because the film’s director Chris Columbus wanted her to do a new version of “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home).” As Ms. Love told CBS Local, she wasn’t interested in doing another new version of that song.
