Unintentional Comedy: When a Nice Note Turns Sinister

Apparently, at this hotel, good hospitality means fresh linens AND a creepy dose of existential anxiety.

Author Jon Ronson (So You’ve Been Publicly Shamed and The Psychopath Test, to name a couple) was staying at a hotel in North Carolina when he got a note from the housekeeping staff. We’re pretty sure they thought it was nice, maybe just trying to brighten his day. But it takes a dark turn at the end, almost sinister, and it’s kind of funny. Nothing like a casual reminder of your own mortality to start the day.

Here is a pic of the note he posted on his Twitter (@jonronson)
