FOX is doing a reboot of the classic midnight film Rocky Horror Picture Show. It was recently announced Adam Lambert was cast in the upcoming network event. Entertainment Weekly reports the former American Idol will play the role of Eddie, a motorcycle riding ex-delivery boy who has a penchant for rock-n-roll music. Eddie winds up at Dr. Frank-N-Furter’s and adds his own flair to the party.

Adam Lambert shared his excitement about his new role. “I grew up watching Rocky Horror, but could never imagine that I would be apart of this new vision. Rocky Horror always made me feel like it was okay to celebrate my weirdness. Hallelujah, bless my soul! I love old time rock-n-roll!”
