KOOL Dog of the Week – Brody (graphic)

This neglected boy needs some fur-ever love!

Brody, a 6 year-old purebred Rottweiler was neglected by his previous owner and left in the yard without shade.   When he was rescued by Emergency Animal Medical Technicians he had a severe thermal burn all the way down his back and it took weeks of laser therapy and lots of coconut oil for his back to heal.

Now he is happy, healthy and ready to embrace a new life, and despite his trials and his difficult past, Brody remains upbeat and has an enthusiastic outlook  on life.  He may be too boisterous for some dogs and small kids.

Still a puppy at heart, he enjoys playing fetch with toys of the stuffed variety, exploring a spacious yard, going for walks at sunset and most of all he loves a good back scratch.  Brody is a great dog with an abundance of love to give to anyone who shows him kindness and after all he’s been through, he simply wants a good home.

Bring the whole family down to the Arizona Humane Society’s Sunnyslope Campus located at 9226 N. th Avenue in Phoenix to meet Brody and see if he’s the right match for you.  His adoption fee is $50 and includes medical treatment, neuter surgery and vaccines.
