Robert Lamm has been Chicago’s keyboard player from the start, and has written some of the band’s biggest hits: Beginnings, Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is, Questions 67 and 68, Free, Saturday In The Park, and 25 Or 6 To 4.
A while back, we talked about the songs and a lot more: big arenas vs smaller venues, process of songwriting, having his songs cut down to single length, his best friend with The Beach Boys, and a lot more.
And yes, he’ll tell you one last time (I’m not asking him again!) the meaning of 25 Or 6 To 4.
See you at tomorrow night’s show at Comerica Theatre.[cbs-audio-player title=”Conversation With Chicago’s Robert Lamm” artist=”Steve Goddard” download=true image=”http://cbskool2.files.wordpress.com/2012/05/steve_goddard_header2014.jpg” url=”https://cbskool2.files.wordpress.com/2014/08/13-05-24-lamm-robert-chicago-214-min-19-sec-edited-mono.mp3″ station_name=”KOOL FM 94.5″ station_logo=”http://cbskool2.files.wordpress.com/2014/05/kool-logo-200×200.jpg”%5D
