Less sleep could age your brain very quickly. 

 

Researchers say this could help with future work on sleep loss and how it contributes to cognitive decline.  The researchers also found sleep-deprived older adults develop neurodegenerative diseases more quickly.  The available data suggests seven hours of sleep is best. 

 

The findings are published in the journal “Sleep.”
