Feeling KOOL

Cheering up people with low self-esteem may be a waste of time.  Canadian researchers found that when bad things happen to these people they don’t want friends to tell them they’re good and worthy.  Instead, they want to hear that their feelings of unworthiness are the appropriate response.  Researchers said the best thing to do is sympathize with the person and acknowledge their feelings.
