Paul McCartney Postpones June U.S. Tour After Illness

After postponing multiple tour dates in Asia following a virus infection there last month, Paul McCartney has done the same for a string of concerts in North America, per his doctors’ advice.

The former Beatle, who was originally slated to start a U.S. tour June 14 in Lubbock, Texas, has instead postponed all shows through the rest of this month.

“I’m sorry but it’s going to be a few more weeks before we get rocking in America again,” McCartney said in a release. “I’m feeling great but taking my docs’ advice to take it easy for just a few more days.  Look forward to seeing you all soon.”
