This story hit home with me. When my daughter, Lucy, was little, she colored…and colored…and colored. I would bring home discarded paper from work and she would color pictures on the backside. She would do this for hours. Fast-forward – she is 15 years old now.
It seems, when ever she sees something made out of paper – she will doodle on it. It’s everything from grocery lists to envelopes that have just come in the mail.
A 4 year old boy colored Dad’s PASSPORT. Now he can’t leave the county.
Here’s the story…AND a picture of passport.
The child got busy during a recent family trip to South Korea, where he took to the back page of his dad’s Chinese passport with a black pen and drew some really nice pictures of people, animals, and – obviously – added a bit more hair to his dad’s face. Classic.
The only problem is that now his dad is stuck in South Korea because of his unrecognizable documentation, and authorities have warned it is likely he won’t be able to travel home with his son, and the rest of his party.
The picture was originally posted on social networking site Weibo by the father, known only as Chen, alongside a plea for help.
