There are few musicians I would call geniuses.  Brian Wilson comes to mind.

And so does Stevie Wonder .

Stevie was born Steveland Morris and by the time he was 12 years old, had recorded his first (of nine) #1 hits for Motown Records, “Fingertips Pt. 2″.

In 1976 he delivered his classic ‘Songs In The Key Of Life’ album which solidified his position as an premiere artist. That same year re-signed with Motown what was at that time the biggest record deal up to that time worth aaround $14 million.  And he was worth every penny.

Today, Stevie celebrates a big day.
