Feeling KOOL – Aspirin and Internal Bleeding

The FDA is warning that taking an aspirin a day to prevent heart attacks may cause internal bleeding.  Doctor Steve Nissen with the Cleveland Clinic says the negatives outweigh the positives.

The thought was that since aspirin thins the blood it would stop blood clots and heart attacks.  New FDA research, however, shows there is not enough proof to support that idea.
