Russell Crowe: 80’s Rock And Roll Star – You’ve Never Seen Him Like This

We all know Russell Crowe as an actor in films like l.A. Confidential, Cinderella Man, 3:10 To Yuma, Gladiator, and most recently Noah.

But long before any of these movies were even written, Russell was known as Russ le Roq who recorded a song titled ‘I Want To Be Like Marlon Brando’.

In the 1980’s, he and a friend formed a band named Roman Antix, and thankfully a video survives that shows Russell doing his best Elvis moves with a hairstyle and clothes that defined the decade. (It’s actually a pretty good song in the video!)

It may change the way you look at ‘Gladiator’ the next time you see it!
