It had never happened before, and it will never happen again.

Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart dated April 11, 1964 showed 14 songs out of the 100 were all by the same group.

The Beatles.

They held the #1 position with Can’t Buy Me Love, #81 with Love Me Do, and a dozen more in between.  Three of the entries (All My Loving, Roll Over Beethoven, and Love Me Do) were import singles from Canada!

Here’s a list of all the Beatles songs from that week and the position each held.  All this, roughly eight weeks after their first Ed Sullivan show appearance.

Click on each song to hear it, and enjoy.
