It was a perfect day our for the Good Life Festival and what better way to start out the festival than Phoenix’s very own Jared and the Mill. They got the crowd warmed up with their folk sound.
Then the Guess Who treated the crowd to the heart-felt ballad, These Eyes along with another one of their hits American Woman. After seeing these two bands back to back, we can’t think of a better band to pair up with The Doobie Brothers.
Before the Dobbie Brothers took the stage, Smasher was able to performed a quick auction for a Doobie Brother’s autographed guitar for $5,000 that went to a local children’s charity.
The Doobie Brothers along with special guests, The Guess Who, put on a feel-good show that complimented The Good Life Festival perfectly. The Doobie Brothers treated the crowd to some songs off their latest release, World Gone Crazy. Along with some of their classic hits such as Listen To The Music, and Long Train Runnin’. The crowds easy-going vibe was clear to be seen as concert goers took to the aisles to dance along with the swaying sounds.
Keep an eye and ear out for their new set, due out later this year. According to this article on radio.com, the new album should have some country-twang to it. Yee-haw!
