Feeling KOOL – Insomnia and Strokes
People with sleep disorders are at a much higher risk of strokes.
New research published in an American Heart Association journal shows that insomnia boosts the chances of getting a stroke by more than 50-percent. Insomniacs aged 18 to 35 were eight times more likely to be hospitalized for stroke than those who slept normally.
