It’s puppy season and the Arizona Humane Society shelter is overflowing with cuteness!
Among the canine shelter residents is Junie B. and Pawly D. who were found wandering the streets of Phoenix by the Arizona Humane Society’s Emergency Animal Medical Technicians.
Since no one ever claimed the darling 11-week-old pups, they are ready to find a new forever family.
Besides being simply adorable, the two German shepherd/ Labrador mixes are perpetual motion machines who don’t sit still for very long and they love to play! Of course anyone with shoe laces is high on their list but they also love pouncing on another dog’s wagging tail. They recently discovered squeaky toys and the way they curiously tilt their little heads to the side when they hear the squeaker is way cute! When you give them the toy they will spend the next half an hour wrestling and parading around the yard. When their energy is spent, they literally collapse wherever they are for a power nap before the fun starts all over again.
They will need some training, plenty of socialization and lots of exercise. When they get older, they will both be excellent hiking pals or jogging buddies.
Both are available NOW at the Sunnyslope Adoption Center located at 9226 N 13th Avenue in Phoenix. Their adoption fee is $200 each and includes their spay surgery and first vaccine. For more information call 602-997-7585 x2045 and ask for animal ID numbers A475182-186.
