Eating nuts can help you live longer.
TREE NUTS: almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews, hazelnuts, macadamias, pecans, pine nuts, pistachios and walnuts – are linked to a 20% lower death rate.
This who ate nuts were found to have almost a 30% lower risk of dying from heart disease and more than 10% lower risk of dying from cancer than those who did NOT eat nuts.
The nut eaters were also leaner and had healthier lifestyles.
