Chiple (means spoiled in Spanish) has a unique family tree. Rottweiler/Basset hound/ Dachshund- but shelter workers call him a “low-rider hot Rotti” which suits this car-ride loving hound perfectly.
With stubby basset legs and a large Rottweiler head, he is an odd looking dog that will attract plenty of attention on neighborhood walks. Chiple loves being adored and will charm even the smallest kids with his sweet personality.
When his owner was no longer able to care for a dog, the 10-year-old took up residence at the Arizona Humane Society and he has been waiting for more than a month for someone to give him a second chance and a good home.

Being a mature dog, Chiple doesn’t need much; just a warm bed, an occasional walk and a good belly rub each night. He wouldn’t mind having a dog roommate- he make a new best friend at the shelter with his kennel buddy- a little mutt- and Chiple likes dogs of all sizes as long as they move at his pace… slow and steady. He is a wonderful walking partner and strolls right beside you on leashed walks. He likes rolling in cushy grass, being spoiled with extra dog treats, going for car rides and sleeping in on the weekends- (he would be happy to share those pancakes with you). Most of all he likes companionship and has proven himself to be extremely loyal and devoted.
If you can give Chiple a nice place to spend his Golden Years then visit the Campus for Compassion located at 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix TODAY to adopt him for only $35. His adoption fee includes his neuter surgery and
vaccines. For more information call 602-997-7585 x1045 and ask for animal ID number A451566 or visit www.azhumane.org .
