REO Speedwagon not only packed the house at Wild Horse Pass, but also kept the crowd on their feet as they rocked out to classic hits like “Time For Me To Fly” and “Can’t Fight This Feeling”.
They started the night with a charity auction and raised over $4000 for the Arizona Broadway Theater program, by offering up not just one but two autographed guitars!
Once they hit the stage there was no stopping them. Band members Kevin Cronin, Bruce Hall, Dave Amato, Bryan Hitt and Neal Doughty commanded the stage from note one and really know how to put on a show with a sound that is timeless.
And while there were chairs to sit in you’d be hard pressed to find anyone actually sitting. The crowd stood and sang with just about every song and ate up every ounce of energy REO put out and it felt like no one wanted the show or the night to end, they just wanted to “Keep on Rolling”.
To wrap up the show they pulled out the classic “Keep on Loving You” as an encore and even told the story of how it came to Kevin at 4am and how great full they are that it did. But they didn’t stop with one song they wanted everyone leaving while rocking out with “Ridin’ the Storm Out”
This was the last show of their 2013 southern tour and if there is another round of shows in 2014 you should defiantly catch their performance it’s an incredible time. Special thanks to Wild Horse Pass for another KOOL Concert.
