Today is the opening of Ringo Starr’s Grammy Museum exhibit called “Ringo: Peace And Love”. Today is press day, and tomorrow it opens to the public. This exhibit will be about his life starting with his years growing up in Liverpool, and playing with Rory Storm, The Beatles, his solo career, and his All-Starr band.
He is going to have a bunch of really KOOL items on display like his drum set that he used to play at Shea Stadium, and the kit he used for the Ed Sullivan Show. You can see his Sgt. Pepper suit, the cape he wore in HELP!, letters and photographs and documents from his family and his days with the Beatles, and a whole bunch more!
You can even take a drum lesson with Ringo in an interactive exhibit! Sounds like a BUCKET LIST item to me!
