So sad. A Florida sinkhole swallowed an entire bedroom whole on Thursday night, including the 37-year-old man who was in it. His brother, Jeremy, heard what sounded like a large crash followed by his brother screaming and ran to see what was wrong .

When he got to the bedroom, all he saw was a big hole in a now empty room – but no signs of his brother. He jumped in the sinkhole in a heroic attempt to save his brother but had to be pulled out himself by a deputy who arrived on the scene.

As of now, the house has been turned over and distance has been kept from the sinkhole because it is still dangerous.

Florida is no stranger to sinkholes. It has more than any other state in the US.
