The Titanic is getting a second chance – sort of. The billionaire chairman of a shipping company has been given the green light to start building Titanic II - an exact replica of the doomed original. The 1912 tragedy left over 1,500 people dead after it hit an iceberg and sunk to the bottom of the ocean.

Setting sail on the Titanic II won’t be much different from traveling on the original. The passengers will be divided into three different classes which they can not move between, be given 20th-century-style clothing to get into character and be forced to live without TV or the internet while on board.

That’s not all. The Titanic II will also take the exact same, six-day route from Southampton to New York. Rest assured: this time around there will be enough lifeboats for everyone in case of an emergency situation.

The ship is scheduled to be done in 2016 so you have plenty of time to work up the courage to step foot on it. We might just watch the movie.
