An 18-year-old guy in Indianapolis had to quit school two years ago when his mother died, so he could support his family. Last week, he found out about a job at a thrift store 10 miles away. He needed a job and couldn’t afford the bus . . . so he walked. He passed a restaurant along the way, and the owner was so impressed with his work ethic, he offered him a job. And now the city has given him a year’s worth of bus passes.
