We get to meet the cutest pug ever! Her name is Evie. Evie is 2 years young BUT she look like a little old lady.
She is super sweet and loves everyone.
She is a little bit afraid of fast movements but she fell asleep in the arms of an 8 year old over the weekend. CUTE! She is about the size of a small cat. Evie will even sit in your lap like a cat. HALO thinks she is a Pug/Chihuahua mix. ( aka Chug). She came to HALO as a stray. POOR THING!
She is good with other small dogs and she likes to bark at big dogs. hehehe
HALO and Maricopa County Animal Care and Control have created a groundbreaking plan to save more lives together than they could separately and at the same time provide enhanced standards of care for all the animals in the shelter.
Working together, HALO and MCACC will be able to provide all of the animals at the shelter with enhanced standards of care, including:
-bedding for every animal
-more time to play with the volunteers and staff
-more comprehensive medical treatments
-enhanced sanitation procedures
-toys for every animal
