I never thought I was boring when it came to my ice-cream favorites. I like my ice-cream chocolate…with peanut butter on the side. Or maybe a nice scoop of cake batter flavored frozen yogurt with some candy toppings. But THIS!? You have got to be kidding! Just sounds gross to me. Tom Peake, on the other hand said, “I’d try it!”
Presumably inspired by a kindergartener’s birthday party, an unconventional ice cream shop has created a particularly unconventional flavor of ice cream: pizza.
You won’t find plain ol’ vanilla at Little Baby’s Ice Cream in Philadelphia. Instead, they offer Earl Grey Sriracha, Sour Cherry and Honey and Strawberry Pinkpeppercorn flavors. But the cherry on top of their oddball menu is definitely their pizza ice cream, which is made blending by tomato paste, basil, garlic, tomato concentrate and oregano leaves with fresh dairy cream.
