With the 7th Annual KOOL Classic car Show less than 24 hours away, it was only fitting that today’s Fab 4 At 4 featured Beatles songs that mention cars.  The two I played quickly grew to six after some sharp KOOL listeners quickly chimed in with 4 more.  thanks to everyone who called in with their contributions.

Here’s what we all came up with:

DRIVE MY CAR – the most obvious song

PENNY LANE – “On the corner is a banker with a motorcar…”

DON’T PASS ME BY – “You were in a car crash and you lost your hair…”

A DAY IN THE LIFE – “He blew his mind out in a car…”

TAXMAN – “If you drive a car I’ll tax the street…”

LUCY IN THE SKY WITH DIAMONDS – “Newspaper taxis appear on the shore waiting to take you away…”
