Dame Julie Elizabeth Andrews (Wells) is celebrating her 77th birthday today.  Known primarily as a stage and film actress, through the years, honors have included: a Golden Globe Award, Grammy Award, Emmy Award, People’s Choice Award, Screen Actors Guild Award, Theatre World Award, and Academy Award honors.  She even managed to score a chart hit on the Billboard Hot 100.  Can you guess what it is?  The answer is at the end of my list of five of her best films.

5. – tie – (drama) Torn Curtin

5. – tie – (musical) Thoroughly Modern Millie

4. – The Americanization of Emily

3. – Victor Victoria

2. – Mary Poppins

1. – The Sound Of Music

Julie Andrews lone chart single came in the spring of 1965, when Super-cali-fragil-istic-expi-ali-docious peaked at #66 while spending 5 weeks on the list.
