Celebrity Death Trifecta “Goes South” (VIDEO)

Did you see this morning’s blog about singer/songwriter Joe South?  He died of a heart attack yesterday at age 72.  Joe wraps up the current Celebrity Death Trifecta.  This one includes TWO famous songwriters:

  1. Hal David (songwriter)
  2. Michael Clarke Duncan (actor)
  3. Joe South (singer/songwriter)

I played Joe’s hit from 1969, “Games People Play” on the show today.  He won two Grammys for that one!   But, do you know the OTHER songs he wrote – but, didn’t sing?  You’ll be surprised at some of these!
