An old “Circus” magazine cover from 1970 has popped up online . . . and it asks, quote, “These People Are Approaching 30 . . . Will They Survive the ’70s?”

Below the headline were pictures of 20 musicians, FOUR of whom did NOT make it. Although, perhaps it’s MORE surprising that 14 of them not only made it . . . but are STILL alive more than four decades later.

Johnny Cash . . . Survived, until he died in 2003.

Pete Townshend . . . Survived, and is currently 67 years old.

Jim Morrison . . . Did NOT survive . . . he died in 1971.

Paul McCartney . . . Survived, and is currently 70 years old.

Grace Slick . . . Survived, and is currently 72 years old.

Bob Dylan . . . Survived, and is currently 71 years old.

Janis Joplin . . . Did NOT survive . . . she died later in 1970.

Mick Jagger . . . Survived, and is currently 69 years old.

Elvis Presley . . . Did NOT survive . . . he died in 1977.

George Harrison . . . Survived, until he died in 2001.

Ringo Starr . . . Survived, and is currently 72 years old.

Charlie Watts . . . Survived, and is currently 71 years old.

Jimmy Page . . . Survived, and is currently 68 years old.
