Tomorrow night America takes the stage at Wild Horse Pass for a sold out show in our KOOL Summer Concert Series, with over 40 ears worth of hits to cover.  Songs like A Horse With No Name, Ventura Highway, Sister Golden Hair, and You Can Do Magic,  have become classics we’ve all grown up with, so there’ll be no shortage of familiar hits.  On one of the duo’s previous trips through the valley I spoke with Dewey Bunnell and covered a lot of areas including the group’s background, stories about each of the individual hits (A Horse With No Name wasn’t supposed to be included on the first album), Dan Peek’s departure from the group, working with producer George Martin, and a lot more.   Here’s the complete , interview, probably the most in depth conversation about the group you’ll hear in one place.
