Today’s Fab 4 @ 4 features a couple of rock and roll tracks by The Beatles.  I specifically say ‘rock and roll’,  because to me they were more of a pop group than a straight on rock and roll group. When they cut loose with a track like I’m Down, Rock and Roll Music, or Twist and Shout, it was the exception and not the rule.  And as great as John Lennon was at singing screaming rock and roll, his first group didn’t play it.  At a press conference in 1964, John confirmed that fact.

In addition to the pair on today’s Fab 4 @ 4, here are three more of the best of The Beatles rock and roll tracks.
