The Beatles first movie was a surprise hit for them.  It wasn’t a surprise that the film was successful, it was a surprise to everyone that it was so good.  Fans loved it, critics loved it, and The Beatles were compared to The Marx Brothers, which was high praise indeed.  Ringo came up with the title and in 1964 interview for radio, talked about how he came up with the title.
