Todd Rundgren (Hello It’s Me-I Saw The Light) is 64, Alan Osmond of The Osmonds is 63, Cyndi Lauper turns 59, and Inxs bass guitarist Gary Beers (What You Need-Need You Tonight), blows out 55 candles.
Twelve years ago today the “Prince” confusion came to an end when after giving himself various identities in the 1990′s, ‘The Artist Formally Known As Prince‘ announced he wanted to be known as Prince again.
By then, nobody cared.
And on this day in 1963, 13 year old Stevie Wonder entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart as Little Stevie Wonder with a song that would eventually hit #1 – Fingertips Part 2.
