Today’s Fan 4 @ 4 features a couple of tracks from the Beatles For Sale album that never appeared as singles in the U.K. But one of the songs was released as a single here in the states, where it spent two weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Eight Days A Week was the groups current single in 1965 when George Harrison and John Lennon were asked about it at a Dallas press conference – and initially couldn’t name their then current single that had been released here.
