Baseball is still my favorite sport. My dad was instrumental in bringing pee wee baseball to my home town, and the old baseball field is even named after him. I played for ten years myself and loved every minute of it. He and I used to listen to the St. Louis Cardinals game broadcasts with Harry Carey and Jack Buck, and I vividly remember hearing Stan Musial’s last at bat, happy that he went out with a hit. When I met Stan several years ago and had him sign the Musial model glove I used my entire playing time, it was an emotional moment for me. I still get a kick out of Little League baseball, and I think you’ll get a kick out of this umpire, especially when he calls a third strike.
Ever see an ump dance after a call? You will.
