Memorial Day is a great time to honor our fallen veterans and also a time to celebrate life! If you need some ideas on what to do this Memorial Weekend, I’ve compiled a list of options and ideas for the entire family.

Memorial Day Weekend Fireworks & BBQ at WET & WILD PHOENIX
Sat, May 26 & Sun, May 27
Bring the family to Wet & Wild in Phoenix for Memorial Weekend as they celebrate the holiday with a bang… and BBQ! In addition to the attractions and water fun, they will serve BBQ (all-you-can-eat) and Coca Cola beverages from 7:00pm-8:30pm. Each night the park will honor our fallen and festivites with a fireworks show, included with admission to the park, at 9:30pm. Purchase your tickets now for only $9.99 (plus tax) for Season Pass holders and children ages 3-11; and for guests ages 12+ and up, tickets are only $11.99 per person.

For more info and to purchase tickets, go to Wet & Wild Phoenix.

17th Annual “Salt River Heroes = Litter Zero” Memorial Weekend Event
Sat, May 26 – Mon, May 28
The weather will be great all weekend, so why not celebrate and honor those by tubing down the Salt River. The more – the merrier, so bring friends and family. All-day tube rentals are $15.00 for the day and include shuttle service. For more details and information on children and what you can and can’t bring to the “floating picnic” on their website: Salt River Tubing.

Bark In The Park: D-backs vs. Brewers
Sun, May 27
Want to include your furry family friend in the weekend’s festivities? Come to Chase Field with your pet for Bark In The Park! From 11:45am-4:30pm, you and your dog will enjoy a D-backs game as they take on the Brewers. Plus, there will be a Puppy Parade and pregame Puppy Rally. Participation is limited and guests must provide proof of rabies and dog license. Ticket prices range from $18.00 and up and $5.00 from each ticket sold will benefit the SPCA and Arizona Animal Welfare League, and is brought to you by the Pet Club. Good cause… good fun… good dog!
