Bob Dylan‘s 71 today, and not the easiest person to interview on those rare occasions when he consents to sit down and answer questions. In July1981 Bob was interviewed in his hotel room by Dave Herman after a show in London. To make matters worse, he never put down his guitar and picked his way not only through the questions, but the answers as well. Still it was rare enough for Columbia Records to press up and send out for radio stations to play. It’s not the greatest Dylan interview ever, but is one of the most bizarre. Dave, I feel the pain you experienced.
