Robin Gibb Had “Sesame Street Fever!”

Much like we did last Thursday with Donna Summer, Monday’s All-Request KOOL Cafe will be dedicated to the musical memory of Robin Gibb.  What’s your favorite song from Robin?  It could be solo, or maybe with the Bee Gees.  If I can find it, I’ll play it Monday at Noon.  I’ll even put you on the radio with any memories or messages you’d like to share.  CLICK HERE to make your KOOL Cafe request early.

Have you ever heard of “Sesame Street Fever?”  I just found this online and vaguely remember it from the show.  Robin Gibb was part of a 1978 album with the cast of Sesame Street.  It was recorded and released in the afterglow of “Saturday Night Fever.”

In the album’s liner notes, it says “Robin Gibb appears courtesy of his children – Melissa and Spencer Gibb.”  I doubt we’ll play this one on the radio.  So, enjoy the music of Bert, Ernie, The Count, Big Bird, Cookie Monster and Robin Gibb here:
