Hard to believe it’s been almost 11 years since that dark day in September, 2001. In the days after the attacks, it seemed as though time slowed to a crawl. Do you realize they’ve been building the new World Trade Center tower for 8 years? As of April 30th, it’s the tallest building in New York City yet again! Earthcam has recorded the entire process, and just released a time-lapse video of the construction. I think this is extremely KOOL to watch! And, I am so glad they decided to rebuild.
NEW YORK, NY - APRIL 30: A man takes a photo as construction continues on One World Trade Center (L) after workers moved a steel column into place to make it New York City's tallest building on April 30, 2012 in New York City. One World Trade Center's height is now just beyond the 1,250 feet of the observation deck at the Empire State Building. (Photo by Mario Tama/Getty Images)(Photo by Mario Tama/Getty Images)
