The Big Red Rib and Music Festival continues today at the Great Lawn at University Of Phoenix stadium.  KC and the Sunshine Band take the stage tonight at 8:30 with all their hits in tow: Get Down Tonight, That’s The Way I Like It, Shake Your Booty, I’m Your Boogie Man, Keep It Coming Love,  Boogie Shoes, Please Don’t Go, Yes I’m Ready, and Give It Up. I remember the day Get Down Tonight was released and what I heard when I dropped the needle down, it was an opening guitar riff like I’d never heard before.  Later I found out why it sounded so different from anything else.  KC has the story.
