All are still alive and making music except for  [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Freddie Scott[/lastfm]  who died in 2007.  His big hit Hey Girl was written by [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Carole King[/lastfm], who talks about it in her just release biography.  The other three include a guitarist who had hits in an instrumental and vocal group, a Northern California group member that everyone thought was from the deep south, and a group member who recorded what many consider to be the first “disco” record.  Any idea who any of them are? You know the hits.
