That’s [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Glen Campbell[/lastfm] playing the opening guitar break on Fun Fun Fun – not [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]The Beach Boys[/lastfm] [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Carl Wilson[/lastfm].  And that’s just one example of their story.   Tonight you see just how big a role [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]The Wrecking Crew[/lastfm] played behind the scenes on hundreds and hundreds of hit records.  Drummer [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Hal Blaine[/lastfm] and keyboardist [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Don Randi[/lastfm] from the legendary group of studio musicians will be there for a question and answer session and autographs after the film screening.  Hope you can join us at Skye for the screening at 7pm.

Research included in Jon Stebbins “The Beach Boys FAQ” has long established that it is indeed Carl Wilson playing the lead on Fun, Fun, Fun. Even Glen himself said so when asked years ago in a respected Beach Boy’s fanzine.
