I’ve been a bit of a funk lately about owing money to the federal government for the first time in ten years.  Yep…just did the taxes!  Who’da thunk the Phoenix Suns would be the ones to bring me out of that funk?  It hasn’t been the best of seasons for our boys in orange, to say the least.  But, lately, it’s been a different story.

They beat the Lakers Saturday night!  They beat the Timberwolves last night!  If they do the same thing to the Grizzlies tomorrow, there COULD be a playoff spot for Steve Nash and company.

We’re currently in 9th place in the Western Conference.  Unfortunately, only 8 teams make it to the playoffs.  We’re just one game behind Dallas and Denver.  We’re two games behind Houston.  There are 9 games left, and only one of those is a losing team.  So, basically, we’ve got to win just about EVERY game to guarantee a spot.

We play #5 ranked Memphis tomorrow.  On Friday, it’s #6 Houston.  Saturday, we face the #2 monsters of San Antonio.  Oh, did I mention all of those are away games?
