Not only is Austin one of the KOOLest cities in America, it plays host to one of the KOOLest music festivals in America. This year’s keynote speaker at the South By Southwest (SXSW) Music Conference was [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Bruce Springsteen[/lastfm]. Of course, he performed. But, he did NOT do one of his own songs. He played “We Gotta get Out Of This Place” by [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Eric Burdon[/lastfm] & [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]The Animals[/lastfm].
Afterward, Bruce said, “That’s every song I’ve ever written. I’m not kidding, that’s all of ‘em.”
