The Last Waltz

“Rolling Stone” recently polled their readers to come up with a list of The 10 Best Concert Movies of All Time.  They released the results yesterday.   I’ve seen most of them, and I would agree with the list for the most part.

.)  “The Last Waltz” . . . featuring The Band  (1978)

.)  “The Song Remains the Same” . . . featuring Led Zeppelin  (1976)

.)  “Stop Making Sense” . . . featuring the Talking Heads  (1984)

.)  “Woodstock”  (1970)

.)  “Rattle and Hum” . . . featuring U2  (1988)

.)  “Gimme Shelter” . . . featuring the Rolling Stones  (1970)

.)  “Live at Pompeii” . . . featuring Pink Floyd  (1972)

.)  “Shine a Light” . . . featuring the Rolling Stones  (2008)

.)  “Sign O’ the Times” . . . featuring Prince  (1987)

.)  “Bullet in a Bible” . . . featuring Green Day  (2005)
