[photogallerylink id=96232 align=left] I find this blog VERY hard to write. I feel much like I did when breaking the news of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Michael Jackson[/lastfm]‘s death in 2009.  [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Whitney Houston[/lastfm] died today.  She was ONLY 48!

I first heard the news just minutes ago when I read a tweet from Harvey Levin of TMZ.  He ALWAYS knows what’s up in Hollywood.  While we don’t know the cause quite yet, one has to assume it is drug related.  Here’s a photo that was just released days ago:

We’ll update this blog when we learn more.  I certainly hope there’s a tribute at tomorrow night’s GRAMMYs!  For now, let’s celebrate Whitney’s life and music.  RIP Whitney Houston
