Most everyone knows that [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Glen Campbell[/lastfm] toured with [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]The Beach Boys[/lastfm] for a short time in the 60′s, and he also played on a lot of their hit records. (that’s Glen with the opening guitar riff on Fun Fun Fun)  [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]The Beach Boys [/lastfm]will be performing on the Grammy’s this weekend and so will Glen, though I don’t know if he’ll join them for one last song.  I did discover earlier this week that [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Glen Campbell [/lastfm]opened for [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]The Doors[/lastfm] for a couple of shows in the mid 60′s, and if I hadn’t heard Glen himself tell the story, I wouldn’t have believed it.
