Why You Should Never Stick You Face In Front Of A Strange Dog

That’s too close! Common sense went out the door yesterday morning when this anchorwoman was pulling a strange dogs face towards her and thought the dog wasn’t going to react.  The day after the incident veteran Denver television anchor Kyle Dyer  is recovering after undergoing reconstructive surgery for injuries after she was bitten in the face.  She was dong a  story about a dog rescued by a firefighter during yesterday morning’s broadcast. . The station reported today that Dyer is doing better after the surgery. The dog was impounded after Michael Robinson, the dog’s owner, was cited with failure to have his dog on a leash, allowing his dog to bite and failure to have a vaccinated dog.   What do you think?

Part of me felt that this is a shared responsibility; however, since there is indication of a leash law, I feel that the dog owner is responsible for covering the medical bills. Anchor should review common sense rules before putting herself or anyone on her crew in a situation that could cause anyone injury.
