[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]War[/lastfm] is in town tonight for an 8:30 show at the Celebrity Theatre – and there are plenty of familiar hits to fill the evening. songs like Slippin’ Into Darkness, The World Is A Ghetto, The Cisco Kid, Gypsy Man, Me and Baby Brother, why Can’t We Be Friends,,Low Rider, Summer, and one of the most befuddling songs of all time, Spill The Wine that the group recorded with [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Eric Burdon. [/lastfm]I have never been able to figure out what that song was about. Fortunately, I caught up with original keyboard man Lonnie Jordan and got the story from the guy who was there. After you hear the story, the song will make sense. But you will never hear it in the same way again.
